Description:
Grace House is a residential treatment program for mothers in early recovery located in Northampton. Grace House can house up to fourteen families in a collective living environment, where families share space and resources in an effort to build sober community and peaceful living. As a therapeutic setting, we strive to provide each family with a safe, nurturing environment where mothers and their children can experience success. We want our families to have the opportunity to grow emotionally, socially, and spiritually through the various clinical and supportive services we have to offer. Grace House programming follows a structured daily schedule with groups, meetings, and clinical sessions. Women have the opportunity to participate in the AA/NA communities, to attend Relapse Prevention support groups, to attend individual and family therapy, or even to study for your GED or practice yoga. At CHD we want to provide a safe and sober environment that is relevant, consistent and nurturing; our parenting and children’s services support mother’s in achieving and/or maintain reunification with their children; assistance and advocacy in securing stable housing; preparation to enter the work force; and quality treatment programming that will support mother’s in their journey of early recovery.
