A New Perspective Counseling Center maintains a strong focus on the people who participate in it's programs. The "Solution-Focused Model of Therapy" is used where positive exceptions to problems and crises are identified. Therapy then focuses on building from these successes for an improved quality of life. Clients are recognized as the experts on their reality and guided in establishing their own goals and defining their solutions to problems and challenges. A New Perspective Counseling Center believes that people can truly work through difficult times and emerge with stronger and deeper commitments to family - with enhanced appreciation for life. Many factors in life may lead to increased use of drugs and/or alcohol. A New Perspective Counseling Center believes in exploring avenues such as stress & anger management, conflict resolution, family dynamics, workplace demands & depression. Participation of the entire family is encouraged and accommodated.
