The affect on the brain leads to dysfunctional behavior that can negatively impact all areas of an individual’s life. Chronic exposure to drugs or alcohol will alter the brain’s natural balance, chemistry, and overall functioning. As natural brain balance is stabilized through abstinence, the ability to grasp recovery concepts becomes achievable. Phoenix House, Inc. has been providing substance abuse treatment services since 1973. In this time, many men and women have participated in and found recovery from their addiction through our services. Our goal is to assist each individual with developing the appropriate recovery skills and concepts in order to achieve long-term abstinence and success.
