Details: Home of New Vision offers the following recovery support services and resources in Jackson, Michigan: Jackson Recovery Resource Center (JRRC): The JRRC offers Community Case Management to men and women with substance use or co-occurring disorders who have difficulty remaining engaged in a recovery path. Case managers assist clients through a maze of resources to address treatment and recovery needs, medical care, employment services, legal issues, and housing. While advocating for each client's unique set of needs and desires, case managers forge positive connections with community agencies and work directly with community partners to remove barriers to recovery and growth. In addition to case managers, the JRRC offers clients the opportunity to connect with peer support partners, who can provide a unique perspective rooted in the recovery culture based on their own addiction and recovery experiences. Peer support partners assist and support clients with meeting attendance, appointments and leisure activities. The JRRC offers linkages to the recovering community, including computer labs, resource groups, card and game nights, and a variety of other activities. Jackson Recovery Court: In a collaborative effort, Home of New Vision provides the services of a recovery coach to clients referred by the Jackson Recovery Court. The recovery coach provides support for recovery-based meeting attendance, transportation to other appointments, weekly coaching sessions, and leisure activities. We also offer opportunities for community service to Jackson Recovery Court clients.
