Details: For more then 20 years Addiction Treatment Systems has been the leading methadone treatment provider for Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia and the District of Columbia. There are times when people reach a crossroads in their lives. Many chose the one path that leads them to do destructive things that they never thought they would do. Often times this path takes them to unhealthy places they never thought they would go to. When you finally make a choice to turn around, head back to that crossroads and take the other path, this is the beginning to your New Journey. New Journey is a private methadone program that began serving the needs of the community in 2015. We are at the forefront of opiate addiction treatment in Anne Arundel County and Counties point East of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. New Journey is conveniently located on Defense Street in Annapolis, Maryland which is directly off of West Street. New Journey has applied for accreditation with The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and is awaiting our first accreditation survey. New Journey is currently regulated by state and federal agencies. Our Management Team and Medical Director have been working in the narcotics treatment field since the mid 1980's. The Treatment Team is composed of the Medical Director, Licensed Nurses, Master Level Clinicians and Certified Counselors. From the moment you enter our facility and are greeted by staff that is compassionate about their work, we believe that this is the beginning of your New Journey.
