Details: Resources for Human Development’s Louisiana Intensive Outpatient Program (RHD-LA IOP+) provides substance abuse treatment to adults in the greater New Orleans area who are in need of a level of care less intensive than inpatient and more intensive than outpatient services. Utilizing an empowerment, strengths based Recovery Model; Intensive Outpatient Treatment aims to promote self-efficacy through group, individual, and family therapy with auxiliary case management and pro-social, sober living services resulting in a holistic and individualistic approach to client recovery. The overarching goal of the program is to address the gap in step down substance abuse services in the greater New Orleans area.
