Details: Duane Dean Behavioral Health Center provides comprehensive treatment and intervention services to adults who suffer from the disease of addiction. For 40 years, Duane Dean Behavioral Health Center a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization -has been providing treatment, intervention and prevention services to adults who reside in Kankakee and Iroquois counties in east central Illinois. The Women & Children's Wellness Program: Women often avoid seeking treatment for fear of losing custody of their children. This coupled with little access to child care services, is the most significant and most frequently cited barrier among females who seek treatment. The Women and Children’s Wellness program is specifically designed to address these and other gender-specific barriers that may impede a woman’s road to recovery and an improved quality of life.
