Details: Prototypes is a lifeline to women who are struggling with addiction and other serious issues such as domestic violence and mental illness. Many of these women are mothers who face an impossible choice: give up their children to foster care or a guardian, or continue to suffer. Prototypes is a game changer by allowing women to keep their children with them during treatment so they both get the help they need. And, by combining comprehensive treatment series with practical life-skills training, we prepare women for long-term success. Prototypes sets the standard for comprehensive, integrated, evidence-based services. Our team of top professionals and dedicated staff provide residential and outpatient addiction treatment, detoxification, mental health services, prevention and education, vocational training, and parenting support. Oxnard Women’s Center: Our Oxnard campus is located in a peaceful, home-like setting, an environment that our clients find ideal for self-healing and rebuilding their lives. Through our holistic approach, we tailor treatment plans to meet the needs of the clients we serve. Besides providing treatment for substance abuse, we also provide psychological counseling, parenting classes, vocational and educational training, domestic violence and trauma-informed services, medical and psychiatric referrals, case management, educational support services and services for children.
