Details: Turning Point Center is a fully staffed residential facility, open 24 hours a day, that provides services for men and women who are experiencing mental illness or alcohol/drug related problems. Residential services at the Turning Point Center include individual, group & family consultations, codependency counseling, alcohol and drug use evaluations, drug screens, gambling addiction treatment, case management services and community education. The detoxification unit at Turning Point Center is supervised by physicians and works closely with clients to ensure a safe withdrawal from drugs and alcohol. The detoxification program provides orientation to self-help groups and introduces recovery concepts. Clients meet one on one with behavioral healthcare professionals to develop the tools necessary for recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Additional detoxification services include 24 hour crisis care, nutritional guidance, psychiatric services, alcohol and drug testing, medical examinations and family intervention counseling. Turning Point Center has added a physician-supervised sub-acute unit for clients with mental illness concerns requiring stabilization. Admission is by appointment only.
