Details: We are a community-based outpatient program. Professional Diagnostic Services (PDS) is licensed by the State of Illinois Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, and regulated by the FDA and DEA. The staff of PDS offers a multi-disciplinary approach to the diagnosis, treatment and recovery of substance abuse and mental health problems. Their approach combines the skills of physicians, psychologists and social workers in the development of realistic individualized treatment plans. The staff is specially trained in the fields of narcotic addiction, methadone maintenance and mental health as well as treatment of alcoholism and other forms of substance abuse. We also have staff who speak Spanish. Pregnant women in need of services shall be given preference in admissions. PDS will provide or arrange for gender-specific substance abuse treatment and other therapeutic interventions for women which may address issues of relationships, sexual and physical abuse, trauma and parenting.
