Details: OUR MISSION is to provide a safe, supportive, chemically free environment with a structured home-like atmosphere. Because we recognize that drug and alcohol problems affect the whole person, LRRH offers the resident a program of services that emphasizes a holistic approach to recovery using a 12-step based recovery philosophy, facilitating good client self-care by making referrals for medical and mental health needs, and addressing in a meaningful way â€barriers to recovery†i.e. helping clients finding suitable sober and affordable housing, job training, financial, securing health insurance etc. The focus of the program is to assist each individual in developing responsible behaviors and independent living skills without the use of drugs and alcohol. In this drug and alcohol free environment, we act as a substitute family where supportive personal relationships can be formed. We believe it is through the interaction with staff, other residents, and community based recovery resources, that honest, open communication starts to develop. And just as in any family, each member must bear responsibilities and expectations for the good of the whole. We expect our residents to be respectful of each other and of the staff. We expect our residents to comply with the rules and guidelines established at LRHH. Most importantly, we expect our residents to remain chemically free. Lake Region Recovery Home is dedicated to the continued care and recovery of alcohol and drug dependent persons. Our primary purpose is to offer a temporary residence for people to develop the tools needed before fully returning to the community. We believe that chemical dependency is destructive to the whole person. The affected person has usually been harmed mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, socially, and economically. Each individual must be helped in various ways using a number of resources to achieve a healthy balance in all areas of life. Our program will assist residents, on an individual basis, deal with changing poor work habits, health habits, and daily living skills. We are extremely fortunate to have an active, supportive recovering community in our area filled with other recovering persons willing to reach out and help support your recovery. Lasting sobriety depends on having strong support community based support network.
