Details: As a community- and faith-based teaching system, Providence-Providence Park merges compassion and convenience with university medical care. We’re proud to be a member of St. John Providence and Ascension Health, the largest Catholic and not-for-profit health system in the country. Our Southfield campus provides inpatient psychiatric care to those age 18 and older, with a focus on those who have a primary psychiatric diagnosis, with or without a secondary diagnosis of substance abuse. The Southfield campus also operates a partial day program for those with intense psychiatric issues either as a way to prevent inpatient hospitalization or as a step down from inpatient. Patients are attend programming from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., but otherwise live in the community.
