Details: Substance abuse and chemical dependency are treatable illnesses. At CCBC, we encourage self-help as an adjunct to treatment. CCBC operates a substance abuse treatment program, licensed by the Department of Public Health, on an outpatient basis. We provide services under contract to most major insurers, including Medicaid, Blue Cross, HMOs and Employee Assistance Programs. In outpatient care, we emphasize group treatment to address the acute treatment and recovery needs of those who are chemically dependent. As part of our outpatient care programs, we provide treatment to individuals and their families.
