Details: Located in historic West Falmouth, Emerson house offers Inpatient Residential Care for women. The length of stay is individually determined, with an average stay of 6 to 10 weeks for adult women, and six months to one year for pregnant or post-partum women. Services include individual counseling, group therapy, educational sessions, fitness and meditation, special issues group, art therapy, fitness, equine facilitated learning, and a variety of other resources designed to develop recovery skills that support re-integration with a patient’s family, social and work environment. Pregnant women and mothers with infants reside in a home adjacent to the Main House. The program coordinates prenatal, delivery, and well baby.
