Details: The Recovery Home, located at 102 Appleton Street in Lowell, has provided substance abuse treatment to individuals struggling with addictions since 1972. The program continues to provide critical housing and supportive services to over 75 men and women a year in early recovery. It serves as a centerpiece in the drug and alcohol recovery program in the city. Residents work as they prepare to return to the community, independent and substance free. Persons served must be 18 years or older, and an average length of stay is six months.
