Details: Family Service Association received its license as an outpatient mental health clinic in 1985. Our professional Behavioral Health Center staff provides individual, couples and family therapy designed to address a wide variety of personal, emotional and psychological problems. Comprehensive diagnosis and treatment are offered by a skilled professional team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners and licensed clinical social workers. Therapy and support groups are maintained in order to address specific community problems and needs. Counseling is provided at the agency's clinic office as well as in clients' homes, schools or offices. Our professional counseling team can help you and your family with: Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety and Panic Attacks, Attention Deficit Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Individual and family stress, Issues relating to separation and divorce, Drinking or drug problems affecting the family, Parenting, single parenting and step-parenting, Grief and loss issues, Couples counseling, Problems affecting your ability to work productively, Issues affecting children and adult survivors of trauma. In order to maximize the accessibility of services, home visits are offered to those unable to make office visits. In addition, day, evening and Saturday appointments are available. The needs of the non-English speaking community are met by our skilled, multilingual counseling staff. This includes services in Portuguese, Spanish and Khmer. Most third party health insurance plans are accepted, including MassHealth.
