Details: BHN provides comprehensive addiction services designed to meet the unique needs of children, families and individuals in the community. Staffed by a multidisciplinary team of highly competent and caring professionals, we are committed to providing services that are responsive and accessible without regard to income. Our long history of meeting the needs of area residents, the schools, at home and in the community, reflects this continuing commitment. The Carlson Recovery Center Detoxification Program provides medically monitored detoxification services for individuals withdrawing from alcohol and other drugs. The Dual Diagnosis Track (Enhanced Acute Treatment Services), a specialized component of the Detoxification Program, provides detoxification services for people with both mental illness and substance use disorders, who are insured by the Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership, and who meet the criteria for Massachusetts Department of Mental Health services. The Carlson Recovery Center Day Treatment/Intensive Outpatient Program is an ambulatory substance abuse program which provides short-term, non-residential treatment for individuals needing more than once-a-week outpatient therapy.
