Details: Recovery from addiction requires changes in behavior. Stabilizing an addict with a medically appropriate dose of methadone reduces the craving for opioids and allows the addict to focus on the steps he or she needs to take to begin making these changes. The goal of MRS is to assist our clients in the recovery process by providing the treatment services appropriate to their needs so that they can succeed in treatment. MRS provides comprehensive outpatient addiction treatment services through medication, individualized treatment planning, health and addiction education classes, and individual and group counseling so as to address each client's medical, psychiatric, vocational, and educational needs. Referrals to self-help groups and other community resources are also valuable tools that we employ in the therapeutic process. By addressing the specific needs of our clients, MRS is able to assist them in achieving their goals. Simply stated, the goal of MRS is to assist our clients in achieving a mature and productive lifestyle, free of substance abuse.
