Details: A long-term substance use treatment program serving clients in late to final stages of addiction, Extended Care helps people who have relapsed in the past to find and maintain their recovery. Residential Treatment Program: During the initial phase of treatment, clients live at the “Main House†on the Milestone Old Orchard Beach campus. Residential Treatment is a clinically managed, high-intensity substance use treatment program focusing on trust, concern for self and others, responsibility, self-disclosure and nurturance. Transitional Living/Aftercare: After successfully completing the residential treatment program, clients transition to the next phase of treatment: more independent living. Individuals live in supported housing and attend outpatient counseling as they prepare to re-enter the community.
