Details: Catholic Charities offers evaluations and counseling for substance related disorders. This service is available to adolescents and adults, in our office and numerous schools. For a competitive fee, evaluations and recommendations are completed and released to various community partners, such as the Kentucky Nursing Board, Department of Community Based Services, Probation and Parole and local employers. Outpatient substance abuse counseling is a low level treatment option, best for those who are looking for some extra support in their sobriety and those who have recently completed a higher level of care and would benefit from continued support including Relapse Prevention Planning. We provide education about addiction, and its impact on the individual and family. We take an individualized approach to discuss your options and help you make a plan that best fits your needs. Current staff are Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors and the program is licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky for health and family services as a non-medical alcohol treatment and education center.
