Details: OASIS women’s shelter is a Domestic Violence Program and licensed Women’s Substance Treatment provider for battered women and/or homeless, chemically dependent women and their dependent children. OASIS addresses the unique needs of victims of domestic violence – whether trapped in the cycle of violence and/or the cycle of addiction. Located in Owensboro, Kentucky, and built on the “Empowerment Modelâ€, OASIS provides a safe place for women and their children to escape the trauma and devastation of domestic violence and/or substance abuse.
