Details: Johnson County Mental Health Center offers outpatient youth substance use assessment and counseling services in the late afternoon and early evening hours to accommodate the needs of teens in school and parents who work. Outpatient clients are scheduled for 1 to 6 hours of group counseling and basic alcohol/drug education per week, based on individual client needs. Family involvement in weekly multi-family group is required. Individual counseling if available as needed. Continuing care groups andrelapse treatment are also available. Referralsfor mental health services are made, as needed, for individuals with co-occurring disorders.
