Details: For more than 20 years, Chestnut Health Systems has been providing a full continuum of addiction counseling and treatment services for youth ages 13 - 18 that includes outpatient, intensive outpatient, gender-specific inpatient services and a recovery home for young men. A variety of services are available throughout Illinois in Belleville, Bloomington, and Maryville. Our staff of licensed primary therapists, residential counselors, nurses and recreational therapists care about young people and are committed to helping them learn to live sober lives. We believe every young person has a chance for a better life without drugs or alcohol. At Chestnut, we understand that addiction can interrupt the development of a young person’s emotional, social and cognitive processes. Our holistic and research based approach addresses each of these elements in order to help every individual be successful in recovery.
