Details: This is where it all began for the Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery (IIAR) back in 1979. The IIAR is seen as one of the most progressive treatment centers in the country with developing programs to not only treat chemical dependency, but to also be the first to begin treating compulsive gambling, food, sex, Internet, video game, shopping/spending, and chronic pain with addiction. Our Unity Point Proctor Hospital campus provides treatment for both adults and adolescents.
