Details: Established in 1976, the Human Service Center (HSC) provides a full array of behavioral healthcare services for individuals and families challenged by mental health or substance abuse difficulties. The Human Service Center (formerly known as White Oaks) offers comprehensive, state-of-the-art substance use services, individually designed for each individual. The Community Crisis Center detox unit is a 12-bed emergency medical detoxification unit for individuals who may be at risk of withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs. The unit is staffed with nurses and support staff around the clock and provides medication interventions to stabilize individuals during one to five day stays.
