Details: The Prairie Center is a not-for-profit, substance abuse treatment center dedicated to providing the highest quality of prevention, intervention, education, and counseling services. The Prairie Center facility which houses the adult Residential Services, and the Bureau of Prisons Program is located in a historical building in downtown Champaign, Illinois. Offering privacy and confidentiality through a rear entrance, this tudor-style facility provides a sense of community and support. Features of the facility, a renovated Elks Club, include first floor on-site food service, a living room with a fireplace, large group room spaces, exercise equipment, and on-site client laundry facilities. Medical staff is on-site 24 hours a day. Serving adults, 18 years of age and over, our Residential presents a safe, supportive environment where you can begin your recovery journey. The Program offers a variable stay (See Options) with separate accommodations for men and women and a structured daily schedule. Placement is based on an individual substance abuse assessment. Treatment Plans are strength based and designed to meet your needs and challenges. Includes individual and group counseling, education sessions, family groups, relapse prevention and discharge planning.
