Details: Clay Behavioral Health Center, Inc. (CBHC) is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Clay County residents by providing affordable mental health and substance abuse services through a comprehensive community-based approach to care. Clay Behavioral Health Center has substance abuse and prevention programs for adults, children, teens and families. All programs within the Substance Abuse Department provide the participant with the information he or she needs to reduce their dependence on drugs or alcohol and begin a new start on a healthy, fulfilling and substance-free life. Substance abusers do not suffer from a lack of willpower or moral deficiency , but rather a disease which responds to therapeutic interventions; substance abusers often merely lack the knowledge and understanding of how to manage their illness.
