Details: Since 1920, Jewish Community Services of South Florida has remained true to its original mission of providing exemplary social services through compassionate and comprehensive programs that help people stay healthy and productive. Addictions can be the source of intense pain and hardship both for those affected and their families and friends. Offering expert outpatient counseling for people addicted to drugs, alcohol, food, sex or gambling, JCS is an invaluable lifeline for those struggling with these issues. Individual and group counseling are also provided for those charged with DUI referred from traffic schools in Miami-Dade County and courts outside of Miami-Dade. In addition, consulting psychiatrists perform evaluations and prescribe medications as needed.
