Details: Tri-County Human Services, Inc. provides adult outpatient Substance Abuse (SA) and Mental Health (MH) services at locations in Lakeland, Winter Haven, Avon Park and Wauchula. The outpatient clinics provide a wide range of behavioral health services including assessment, medical services (Lakeland & Avon Park), case management, Targeted Case Management (Avon Park), individual counseling, group counseling, couples counseling, education groups, family counseling, aftercare services, drug screening by urinalysis, and referral for adjunctive and aftercare services as clinically indicated. Intensive Outpatient (IOP) treatment is available at Lakeland location. Length of stays in outpatient services range from three to nine months. Outpatient services offer individuals the opportunity and means to overcome their substance abuse problems without regard for the client’s ability to pay for services. Treatment success or failure is significantly correlated with the individual's motivation to change and with their willingness to follow treatment recommendations to develop a healthier lifestyle.
