Details: In 1968 a physician, a pharmacist and a police officer came together to respond to a growing substance abuse problem in their community. They gave their time, effort and money and founded an organization that has changed lives for some 4 decades now. As a result of their commitment and desire to make a difference in the lives of people seeking help, Drug Abuse Foundation was born. Residential halfway house treatment provides a therapeutic regimen in a transitional halfway house setting with a length of stay between 4 and 6 months. The goal of this unit is to provide relapse treatment and assist clients in transitioning and fully integrating them back into the community.
