Details: River Region provides outpatient treatment for substance abuse for adults and youth age 12 and older. Substance abuse treatment is based upon the 12 Step Recovery model and focuses on family systems and support. Outpatient services include a psychological assessment, treatment by a team of professional addiction counselors, weekly support groups and individual counseling sessions. The length of treatment varies according to the needs of the individual.
