Details: People’s Place has grown into the largest multi-service 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to helping people find their path to growth and independence. We accomplish this goal by providing a variety of programs and services to the families, adults, and children of lower Delaware that are focused on counseling, education, prevention, intervention, supportive services, and advocacy. The Counseling Centers provide a wide array of services to children and adults including individual and family therapy and medication management. Clients are either self-referrals or referrals by physicians and social service agencies. Licensed mental health therapists provide a combination of therapy and specialize in depression, anxiety, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and behavioral problems.
