Details: Serenity Place, Inc. has been a working organization for over 20 years. It has made an impact on over 1,000 residents and been an active element in the local recovery community. A devestating fire ripped through the halfway house building on June 7th, 2011, leaving the 10 current residents with no housing. Multiple venues of media have enabled us to raise awareness and support from the community, and many needs have been met this way. The program continues and the mindset behind the rebuilding is taken from both the 12 Steps and Nehemiah 2:20..."We will rebuild; one day at a time."
