Details: Our vision is to promote the strengths and resiliency of individuals, couples, families and our communities through providing timely, strengths-based counseling to enhance functioning. Successful treatment is achieved not when clients are without problems but when clients have the means and resources to address their problems effectively with the help of family, friends and their community. We provide individual, couple and family therapy.We are also licensed as an outpatient substance abuse treatment facility and offer a weekly substance abuse group. Our staff is trained in Marriage & Family Therapy, a counseling discipline that focuses upon the strengths of individuals and families in resolving problems in living. As a training facility, we utilize graduate level interns from the University of Connecticut , St. Joseph's College, Springfield College and Central Connecticut State University . We also have post-graduate and licensed therapists on staff as well as specially-trained supervisors who have additional credentials from the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
