Details: We are committed to helping children and adolescents develop skills and coping strategies they can use for a lifetime. Wheeler Clinic’s Children’s Outpatient Services address mental health issues specific to childhood, adolescence and early adulthood. We employ a gender-specific, trauma-informed, person-centered approach to care and we offer family, individual and group therapy for children up to age 18 and their families, addressing issues such as anger management, substance abuse, social skills, girl’s empowerment and adolescent coping skills. We provide state-of-the-art, evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
