Details: The Jacob Center was founded in 1988 by three Social Workers. Jacob, a family name, is historically associated with healing and also refers to an ancient surveying instrument (a Jacob Staff) whereby people could get their bearings. Our mission is working with youth, families, and the community to inspire positive and long-lasting change.
