Details: The Roque Center offers an affordable court approved residential social model non-medical recovery program for adult men and women. Same day admission is available for individuals who are a minimum of 72 hours clean and sober. If the individual is not clean and sober they will be referred to our detox program. Services are provided in a clean, supportive, and calm environment and monitored by experienced licensed staff twenty-four (24) hours a day. Our Primary 30 Day Program emphasizes education, group process and one-on-one counseling. Clients will learn the aspects and progression of the disease of addiction, learn relapse prevention, and develop new coping skills, habits, and behaviors. Our social model approach to recovery emphasizes the principles of AA’s twelve step program; “More people are clean and sober today as a result of AA’s twelve step program than all other treatment methods combined†(Kessler 1997). Our group focus and peer oriented approach quickly helps our clients get grounded in recovery through fellowship and camaraderie with their peers. We believe that the longer an individual remains in a structured and supportive drug and alcohol free environment, the better their chances of maintaining long-term recovery. Upon the completion of the Primary Program, residents may remain in our Support Program for an additional 30 to 60 days. In this phase residents are allowed to return to work or begin job search while attending recovery groups and classes. The goal of this phase of our program is to ensure that our client makes a smooth transition back into society.
