Details: Dixon Family Services (DFS) was founded in 1984 by a group of parents interested in providing support services to children and their parents around issues of social skills, school situations, and family life. Since the inception of Dixon Family Services we have grown in our services as well as our target populations to include families, seniors and individuals of all ages. Most of the people we serve are of low or very low income status, but our services are available to all community members. We continue today impacting the lives of families and individuals in our community in a positive way. Dixon Family Services is a private non-profit social services agency. We provide tools and resources to help community members become more successful in their lives. Some of the tools are education, counseling, case management, critical needs services, parenting classes, home visits, and referrals.
