Details: CARF- Accredited, state licensed Day Treatment takes place at Support Systems Homes’ Residential Treatment Facilities in California's Bay Area. For those who require slightly less structure than a "live in" program, Day Treatment may be the appropriate level of care. Clients attend groups during the day, following a schedule similar to that of our residential clients. Day Treatment clients, however, return home at the end of the day. This treatment modality provides structure and support while helping the client begin integrating back into daily life. A highly skilled team consisting of professional substance abuse counselors and clinicians staff our day treatment program. In addition, we can also provide day treatment at one of our facilities combined with sober living. In this case, the client would attend treatment groups during the day and go home to one of our sober living environments. At our sober living homes, residents safely experience the transition from higher levels of care back into the community and day-to-day life with a group of individuals doing the same. Homes are supervised by a house manager and assistant who ensure that the homes offer structure and strong peer support. Support Systems Homes offers a flexible Outpatient Program for clients who are seeking effective treatment for addictions. Our state-certified and CARF - accredited Outpatient Program is designed for clients who do not require – or who have completed – Detoxification, Residential Treatment or Day Treatment. Our Outpatient groups are offered throughout the week in convenient locations, making this level of care an excellent choice for those who work. We also offer weekly family groups, which provide education and support to the loved ones of clients in treatment. Outpatient Treatment gives the individual an opportunity to interact in a real world environment while benefiting from a peer-oriented, structured therapeutic program. Client progress is assessed regularly by clinical staff, who develop individualized treatment plans with each client. Safe, supportive living in our sober living homes is highly recommended during the outpatient treatment process. Graduates from our Outpatient program are welcome in our Aftercare groups and Alumni Association. These groups help provide ongoing recovery support.
