Details: Prototypes is a lifeline to women who are struggling with addiction and other serious issues such as domestic violence and mental illness. Many of these women are mothers who face an impossible choice: give up their children to foster care or a guardian, or continue to suffer. Prototypes is a game changer by allowing women to keep their children with them during treatment so they both get the help they need. And, by combining comprehensive treatment series with practical life-skills training, we prepare women for long-term success. Prototypes sets the standard for comprehensive, integrated, evidence-based services. Our team of top professionals and dedicated staff provide residential and outpatient addiction treatment, detoxification, mental health services, prevention and education, vocational training, and parenting support. Prototypes is proud to be a reason that thousands of women in our communities are now leading healthy, productive lives. Pomona Women’s Center: Our Pomona campus offers comprehensive, holistic residential services. A cornerstone of the Pomona program is that children are allowed to accompany their mothers to treatment so they, too, can benefit from mental health counseling and prevention programs. We provide quality client care that includes treatment for both substance abuse and mental health disorders. We also provide medical referrals and interventions, and offer an array of life-skills education classes focused on parenting, employment, and secondary and advanced education. We also offer group counseling for extended family members, when appropriate, as well as childcare services.
