Details: The mission of the Kern County Hispanic Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services, Inc is, with a focus of the Hispanic community, to improve the quality of life for women with substance abuse problems by providing comprehensive cost effective programs. Services of the highest quality are ensured by the dedication of an involved Board of Directors who support and cultivate a staff of progressive committed professionals. Alma Del Camino Nuevo - The Kern County Hispanic Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services Inc, Outpatient substance Abuse Program is based upon the disease concept of Alcoholism/Chemical Dependency. We support the position that chemical dependency is a disease that adversely affects the body, mind and spirit of the abuser as well as that of the abusers family and loved ones. the commission provides outpatient based substance abuse treatment service that are responsive to the needs of women. The commission believe that only by addressing all significant issues faced by the chemical dependent women can you truly begin to treat the disease of substance abuse. The length of the program will an average of 8 months.
