Details: The mission of Woman to Woman Recovery Programs NCADD Long Beach is to reduce the incidence and prevalence of the diseases of alcoholism and drug addiction, and to reduce the effects of domestic violence on its victims. We provide hope, help, and healing to the community. Long Beach Regional Drug Court Program - A “therapeutic justice†program. The judge, court staff, and treatment counselors work together to help repeat drug offenders achieve total abstinence from illegal drugs and return to the community as productive members. Program participation freezes criminal proceedings before arraignment. This intense program includes at least a year’s worth of group therapy, individual counseling, drug and alcohol classes, frequent drug tests, regular progress reports to the court, and sanctions if the rules are broken. Residential services are available for men through Beacon House and for women through our Residential Substance Abuse Recovery Program for Women and their Children. Related criminal charges are dropped for those who successfully complete the program.
