The 55,000 square foot, two-story facility is licensed for 80 acute care beds and is nestled on over 7 beautifully landscaped acres. Amenities at the facility include a gymnasium, exercise equipment, tennis court and a swimming pool. Aurora San Diego provides inpatient behavioral health and chemical dependency services for seniors, adults, adolescents and children. As the number of acute care beds for children and adolescents in San Diego county decrease, Aurora San Diego is playing an integral role in San Diego’s continuum of care for the treatment of children and adolescents. In addition to inpatient services, Aurora San Diego’s array of alternate services include Partial Hospitalization Programs for children, adolescents and adults and Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient programs for adolescents and adults.
