Details: Black Family and Child Services of Arizona (BFCS) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) community-based social service agency serving children and families in the metropolitan Phoenix area that was established in 1984. Black Family and Child Services is licensed by the State of Arizona to provide Behavioral Health Services and holds a Child Welfare Placing License to provide adoption and foster care services. Adult Substance Abuse Counseling Services: Providing individual, group and family therapy for adults suffering from alcohol and/or drug abuse, which is interfering with the person’s ability to maintain employment and family and personal relationships, or is causing involvement in the criminal justice system. Adults will receive an assessment and between 12-18 treatment sessions to reduce or eliminate the impact of drugs and alcohol on their lives.
