Details: Founded in 1974, The Bridge provides substance abuse treatment and behavioral rehabilitation programs for adolescents (ages 12-18). Ashville Recovery Center for Teens (RCT) is certified through the Alabama Department of Mental Health-Substance Abuse Services Division. Target population of the program: Males and females, ages 12 to 18, who are at risk for, or are actively experiencing substance abuse problems. Ashville RCT collaborates with the St. Clair County DAY program providing substance abuse individual/group counseling services to youth court ordered to the DAY program and who meet RCT entrance requirements. Ashville RCT also operates a separate IOP service on site to youth referred through juvenile court, schools, family or other referral sources
