Details: Established in 1950, Riverbend provides a variety of mental health, substance abuse, and psychiatric services to citizens of Northwest Alabama. Riverbend is a locally operated, public not-for-profit facility serving over 6,500 clients each year throughout Colbert, Franklin, and Lauderdale counties. Sunrise Lodge - A residential treatment facility for male substance abusers. Through this program, clients participate in group, individual, and family therapy as well as community self help groups, study groups, chemical dependency education, and skill building related to issues such as family, self-esteem, and stress management.
