Details: For more than 25 years, Beacon Addiction Treatment Center has served the people of Birmingham, Jefferson County and surrounding counties with professional outpatient substance abuse treatment. We offer a variety of treatment components in the context of a 12-step environment and the understanding that addiction is a disease. We provide treatment for adults and adolescents. Our mission is to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by alcohol and other drug use through treatment and education. We see each client as an individual and we strive to provide substance abuse treatment that meets individual needs. It is our intent to assist clients in learning to make healthier choices and to function more effectively in their personal lives and in the community.
