Description: Eight beds are available for residential programming for male and /or female adolescents between the ages of 10 to 18. An Individualized Treatment Program (ITP) is completed with the assistance of the referring agency representative, the adolescent and their family to provide therapeutic treatment for each adolescent in the residential setting. Our programming provides the opportunities for positive life changes utilizing such program resources as: group and individual counseling, on-site education, outpatient chemical dependency treatment and recreation. Evidence based program components include: "Thinking for a Change"; Life Skills (Independent Living Skills System); Licensed Outpatient Chemical Dependency Treatment “NORTHWEST CHANGE” Program. The RRVJC staff includes an clinical psychology team providing individual and assessments for all placements. The goal of the ITP is to offer adolescents and their families an individualized case plan and support during an adolescent’s stay at the RRJVC as well during their transition back into their community. Adolescents placed into the RRVJC will be offered educational services Monday through Friday provided by the Crookston School District # 593. A variety of group and individual programming is provided to include but not limited to anger management, Life Skills, sexual education, and physical education. In addition to the programming mentioned above the adolescents placed into the 90-day program will be required to participate in the “Thinking for a Change” program as the base program of their placement.
