Description: New Light Consultants, Inc is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit corporation located in Millington, Michigan. Our primary purpose is to provide mental health and substance abuse treatment services to those that otherwise may not have access to assistance. NLC was founded in 1998 to provide home-based mental health and substance abuse counseling to individuals and families who had a need or a desire to receive treatment in their home. The founders of NLC realized that outreach services could assist individuals and families to receive treatment by removing the barriers of transportation and conventional business hours, allowing them to receive needed services and improving their quality of life. On October 7, 2007 NLC earned its accreditation status with the Council On Accreditation. This achievement has since allowed the agency to offer services to a broader range of people.
