Description: This is a group setting service for Fenway patients who either have a current substance abuse diagnosis, are in recovery, or want to reduce their substance use. If you are already a behavioral health patient at Fenway and have a therapist, tell your therapist that you are interested in detox acupuncture and they will refer you to the service. You can complete the substance abuse intake paperwork together. If you do not have a therapist at Fenway, please call Denise Nunez, 617.927.6202, to set up a substance abuse intake appointment. Once completed, you may attend the drop-in acupuncture clinic.

Description: The John Flowers Recovery Home is a 21-bed program located on The Dimock Center’s main campus, serving over 80 men annually. The program is overseen by a clinician, who works with Dimock’s extensive Healthcare, Counseling, Case Management and Administrative staff to plan and build the lives of these men in ongoing recovery. We offer clients post-detoxification services that include individual counseling, group work, case management and family stabilization as well as access to the breadth of comprehensive services our Health Center and Behavioral Health Centers provide. Additional services are provided through referrals to internal and external community programs. Alumni groups provide additional support, forming an external network for individuals moving forward. The John Flowers Recovery Home is a “working house”. Our clients are helped and expected to find a job and begin work within one month of entering the program.
